So what next? Well I suppose the most important thing is that you, the fan, are able to get a copy of 'Tory Boys'...
I am able to produce a small quantity of homemade CD-R copies for £10 each. You can order one directly by commenting on this blog (I am currently trying to set up a paypal account but having problems). Alternately, you can send a self-addressed envelope plus cheque to:
Mr R. McButt
37B Wilson Street
Thurso
Scotland
Or, stream it now on MySpace.
I know that many people these days illegally download music; if you feel the need to do this, please be honest and send me £10 in the post. Here is the artwork if you want to print your own CD sleeve at home:

I have just noticed some spelling errors on the back sleeve, the correct tracklist is as follows:
- Tory Boys (Living a Lie)
- I Smell Brown
- The Wicked Widow & The Haggered Willow
- When All This Is Over.
- A Man's Best Friend?
- My Heroine Days
- Rationality Avoiding (A Mantra)
- Obsessive Possessive [Tribute to JLC]
For anyone curious as to what the seventh Garibaldi album would have been like under my control, my penultimate draft track-list was as follows:
- Fax Machine
(I campaigned for a rewrite of the lyrics, giving the album opener a more serious subject matter) - Track 1 (A Short Story) [became 'Meat Music']
(This would have included a short story I wrote instead of the current vocals) - If You Only Knew
(This should have been the third single from the album) - Just Another Day
(This was the second single) - Speechless
(This was the first single) - For Folk's Sake
- Rory's Rockin' Rock Song [became 'Rory's Mighty Sword']
(This was supposed to be the grand centerpiece of the album; not the throwaway comedy b-side it became under artistic control that wasn't mine) - Late Last Night (On the Promenade) [became 'Late Last Night']
(This would have been more akin to "When This Is Over." from Tory Boys Recreated) - A Man's Best Friend [became 'Kelp!']
- Heroin Days [became 'Heroin Daze (Song for Scotland)']
(Having initially intending this to be an album closer, I eventually decided it was far too negative a way to end a record and suggested the talking be removed from the end, and the track moved here) - The Mantra
- Something Wicked This Way Comes
- Highs & Lows On Crack Street
(An obvious album closer)
'Tory Boys (Recreated)' recreates the 8 song final draft I intended to release which mostly featured new vocal parts I recorded:
- Tory Boys
('Fax Machine' with a new vocal part by me, featuring an early draft of the lyrics that became 'Tory Boys' on Recreated) - If You Only Knew
(For instrumentation reasons, on Recreated, I replaced this track with a remake of 'Texas Is Friggin' Great') - Folk Song
('For Folk's Sake' with all vocals erased except mine and Edith Jazz's) - Late Last Night / Synthesized Mayhem 4.0
(I didn't have time to re-record Late Last Night in the preferred arrangement that appears on Recreated, so would have segued the version that existed at the time with 'Synthesized Mayhem') - A Man's Best Friend?
('Kelp!' with a new vocal take and the lyrics that appear on Recreated) - Heroin Days
(Featuring my own vocal take alongside David's narration, fading out around the 7 minute mark) - The Mantra
(I erased the vocals on this track and re-recorded an emotionally moving take) - Something Wicked This Way Comes (A Capella)
(The arrangement released as 'The Sound Of Space (Part II)' for some reason)
None of my last minute re-records appear on 'Something for everyone to dislike.'

You need to change the back cover, you don't own the rights / haven't applied for the rights for that image.
