"It's All Worth It"

It's All Worth It (Thanks to You!)
Hot mamma duke
Her engine purring
Crossed the border 'bout 5AM
It's been a heavy drive
Return to Bolivia
Smuggling brown my only means to an end

But's it's all worth it at the end of the day
When I can sit down, get you in my vein yeah!

Because a love like this lasts forever
And you know cos this love feels right
I wanna hold you and have you forever
Or failing that at least for tonight

Self-employed for years
Selling narcotics
Pays the bills but does not come without risk
A broad I knew once turned round asked
"Are you lonely?"
Said I would be if it weren't for this shit!

Life is worth it at the end of the day
When I can sit down, get you into my vein!

Because a love like this lasts forever
And you know cos this love feels right
I wanna hold you and have you forever
Or failing that at least for tonight

"Song for Sports Montage"

Song For Sports Montage
Tonight you're on fire!
No-one can stop you
And that's the way it should be
On fire!
The best is our goal and
It don't come for free so:
Raise your game
Reach the top
Rise to the occasion -
And when you get there?
DON'T STOP!!!

There's a place in space where long ago
The rules were drawn up and everyone
Would get their chance to prove their skill
The name was "sport" and all you need is will!
From speed, to strength
For the best of the team
The glory ever-present
Do you share the dream?

And we didn't stop, the human race
Aspired for more, quickened the pace
Man grew fast, women strong
A communist mind-frame helped the team become one
Wickets bailed across the land
Tries and goals and touch-downs scored
Tungsten could be the weapon of choice
Or a big old stick from which to launch!
And as IQ drops we prove to be
The greatest sporting planet in history

So: raise your flag!
Chant this chant!
Be the best!
Or: learn to cheat!!!

"Trainspotting"

Trainspotting
I think I love you
Like Bowie just couldn't
Lennon packed you in
And what good did it do to him?
You sure pissed off ol' Neil Young
And if that's not an advert for your charm,
Then I'll start watching André Rieu
Stone cold sober.

I think I love you
In ways Boyle totally missed
No dead baby's gonna keep me
From your heavenly bliss
You proved to me God does exist
And Allah, Buddha and the rest
Together they forged you to show
Humans a new reality.

I think I love you
As much as Bieber will come to
I know I love you
As much as Bieber will come to

"Call Yourself A Rock Star"

Call Yourself A Rock Star? BROWN MAGIC WOMAN
Five six seven eight
How many hits can you take?
This ain't the game of fools
We're a race of transcendental mules
One in the morning
To kick off in style
Everyday is a wonderous adventure
When you take the life choices of a rockstar

Ain't got no time for games
I'm aiming for the top
This high will split the men from the boys
On three inject the lot:
One -
Two -
Three -

Come on kids - shoot up, it's fun
Come on kids - there's enough in the needle for everyone

Come on kids - shoot up, it's fun
Come on kids - there's enough in the needle for everyone...

"Hot Space"

Hot Space
Red, green, blue, yellow
Cubes compressed to two dimensions
Chuck Berry sings -
Only on television
Where one day we'll all go to die
Yellow trousers, Saturday Night Live
I wonder if lemons will evolve
And if so, into what?
Perhaps a cure for cancer: aid for all!
A raucous guitar enters
The bongos play full speed
Will this cocaine groove ever calm?
I'm too high to care
And sex enters the mind
Once again, blame the tube
Effervescent signals
Keep us wired - sleep is for the weak?

Hot space, hot space
Please God no!
Don't make me listen to hot space.

Red, green, blue, yellow:
It's that woman from that film,
You know the one - with the mousse
Well how she went downhill
Not at all like me.
The drums always clash
And there's noise in the air
But when voices fill the landscape
We find some relief
Harmonies swell the frequencies
And finally some relief.

To be someone
Reject something
Then take it back
And start again

Red, green, blue, yellow
Hot space, hot space
Please God no! no! no!
Don't make me listen to that again...

"Late Last Night"

Late Last Night (On The Promenade)
Late last night
We drank wine
Moonlight lit, your eyes were fixed to mine
And mine to yours
Dancing round and round
To the hypnotic haunting sound of the trombone

Late last night (on the promenade)
We held hands (it was getting hard)
Cautiously I ask will you be mine? Tonight?
You say yes! (on the promenade)
Then undress (I was quite impressed)

You go down
And I realise I love you
I love you
More than any other man I've ever known
For there is no greater pleasure
Than to be with you alone

"Heroin Daze"

Heroin Daze
How did it come to this
Where did it all go wrong
What happened to that face
What happened to those songs?

My insides coming out
My outside caving in

How did it come to this?
Where did we lose our way
Craving for the skanky brown
As the horse courses through the vein

My brain is melting slow
That slow melt feels so good
Opiate visions light the path
Between Moses and the Burning Bush

A final mustard tooth
Aching in the gum
I'm trying to scale the wall
I'm searching for a hit

These days, these days
These days, these days
In a glorious
Heroin daze

"Pot Song"

A set of lyrics I wrote for inclusion on as-of-yet unreleased Glenson Heart McBrute reggae side-project "Spliff Riddims". A jam on June 21st spawned an album's worth of material - several new tracks plus some Garibaldi classics reworked.  Steve, Rob and I wrote words for the remaining originals; hopefully the album will get released soon - it could possibly be our finest work to date!

POT SONG
Our home is our health
It takes more than walls to feel safe
But what of out wealth?
In times of debt, how to replace
The systems that we've built upon
Knowing now the foundation's gone
On land we built that had no strength
The sinking sands help us to see...

Our time is our wealth
But knowing it's finite does not help
Our sense of self
Was thought up by another
How we fought for our right
Knowing not of other's lives
The lies we heard and took to heart
Redemption can't be bought

Our mind is our guide
Together we achieve all
Our hope is the light
Dear science, help us evolve

"Modernity & Maternity"

Words from an as-yet unreleased song from the Kissing Sally sessions. A stripped back arrangement of the track was released on the Valentine's Day Single twice - "No Motherland Without You" and "Let's Save Our Love (Until Marriage)". A working title for these lyrics was something to do with being in love with the Mona Lisa.

Modernity & Maternity
If seeing is believing
My eyes remain on you

If seeing is believing
I’m trying to look elsewhere
Living in your shadow
Forever you sit, unaware
Why hope for better
When all I see is you?
Your face round every corner
This all seems too unreal

Still you sit, eyes planted, glaring at me
Your face engraved on my long-term memory

If seeing is believing
My eyes remain on you
Yet forever you’re destined to occupy
A myst’ry in the eyes of a chosen few

In love with the handiwork
Of another’s sweeping touch
The fact you’re inanimate
Fail’s to quash my lust

Still you sit, eyes planted, glaring at me
Wait – I think I see!

If seeing is believing
My eyes remain on you
If seeing is believing…

"Like Slippery Elm"

A rare experiment of mine into rhythmic-writing, or "rap" as it's also known. A demo was recorded during the Kissing Sally sessions but remains unreleased.

Like Slippery Elm
Steve is the man - the man with the plan
Like slippery elm I'll take you to the helm
'sdeep - not cheap - reap -
don't sow - you sow!
I'll hold you down - funky-funky town
Cats of Claw Hill
You can call me Al
Goodwin - Chegwin
Keith-egg-beer-keg-got-grot-rot-notalot-just-enough

Reminding you of cranberry cheese
Robert Heart'll bring you to your knees
Or vice versa - he's old you see
Or is he? Here's Rory McB,
To reveal all he'll crawl head first
through a sewer pipe - yeah it
smells he'll deal, for-one
for sure - for-five - for-real
The Scot-Scrot-Squad
Scroteam! Scroteam! Go team!

January ditties

A selection of untitled ditties written during the Kissing Sally sessions. Some may yet be used, one has been released in shape of "Maggie's Ditty".

I crave order, you dig chaos
You hate writers, I hate players
Live by night - ruined by day
You worship the Sun - it's overrated

Some sing Hope - some see Monet
Some just hear And imagine life's glory
They fear change - we fear fear
Something about the Moon - that's underrated!

What the fuck - it's the twenty-first century
Got nowhere to go
Let's stop fighting cos' now's the time to
Make the World a home

What the fuck - it's the twenty-first century
And everyone's on the dole
Let's burn down banks and refuse to work
A cleansing of the soul

What the fuck - it's the twenty-first century
And Thatcher's still not dead?
Let's open our eyes and agree to spend
The rest of our lives in bed

Cows and wizards and much the like
It's hard to think we once were young
Shreve, Shreve, Shrevy-Shreve-Shreve
Let the Battle-Cry be sung!

Angels and hotels, hearts and stars
What does it mean to be young?
Hope and Monet, news of the world
Look how far we've come

Angels, hotels, hearts and stars
The ill-fitting start out young
Hope and Monet, news of the world
Our journey's just begun

Poems for The Great One

The recording sessions which went on to produce Kissing Sally In The Smoking Room, had humble beginnings: a tribute to Kim Jung-Il. Steve and Rob spent the session attempting to write a Korean pop song whilst I meditated on The Great Man himself, in the process writing the following material. A rather erotic dream the previous night starring the Dear Leader, proved ample inspiration. Elements of these poems made their way into my eventual tribute song "No Motherland Without You (Part 2)" which appeared on the Valentine's Day Single several months later.

Poems for The Great One
Like lovers trapped by time
We graced this Earth so long apart
Our destiny however was to be that way
Whilst I prayed you could but look

They called you father
To me you were Kim
Jung-Il was your forename
Young the spirit within

Like the Gods you wandered
Your land an Eden blossoming
From the Southern traitors brewing
In that Korean-hell: at worst avoided
At best your next conquest

Long-live you with the name Kim
A son takes the throne
But what fate beholds him?
Long shall your presence
Upon my heart reign
We never got to meet
Jung-Il, I pray we yet may.

To be apart is to doubt
To know your heart is to shout
With a love ever-lasting
Your face a picture of perfection
Inspiring the words in this hymn sung, yield:
The erotic beauty of Kim Jung-Il!

You think your shit is real?
You got an army of women at heel?
Did you invent a meal?
Or course not: you're no Kim Jung-Il!

Slim sung seal
Dim young Neil
Rim rung real
Kim Jung-Il
Gym tongue yield

Bring dung meal
Hymn flung feel
Kim Jung-Il

"Ten-Pin Rehab"

A set of lyrics for an unfinished song intended for an extended version of Hard Rock Hotel, provisionally titled "Off Cutts". Unsurprisingly this track - along with another 22 songs split between myself and Steve - never got finished (or in some cases started) for that project. On reflection, these lyrics wouldn't have added anything significant to the HRH narrative.

TEN-PIN REHAB
Going down the bowling alley
Knock down all those pins
Makes me feel real damn happy
The strength it takes to win
Pickin’ up a big fat ball
‘N lobbing it down the track
Just to take my mind off drugs
And the sins I’ve commited over the years, innit!
Going down the bowling alley
Tonight at twelve
Time has no concept
In my little World
Gonna bash some little pins
With a huge big bowling ball
Power feels so damn good
Even though I’m small!

Ten-pin, rehab
Oh yeah!
Ten-pin, rehab
Oh yeah!
Ten-pin, rehab
Oh yeah!
Ten-pin, rehab
Oh yeah!
Ten-pin, rehab
Oh yeah!
Ten-pin, rehab
Oh yeah!
Ten-pin, rehab
Oh yeah! – I’m gonna play to forget about all the sins I’ve commited!

"David David, I Love You"

One of three tracks written in a therapeutic burst of inspiration for what, at the time, I planned to be a solo album. The song has never been recorded and is so personal, I'm not sure I could bring myself to do so. I would rather not say explicitly to whom the song refers, only that it comes from the heart and hopefully will stimulate the duel feelings of adulation and loss for that special person who may no longer be in your life.

DAVID, DAVID (I LOVE YOU)

David, David
Would you condemn me?
If I told you my feelings
Have changed
David, David
Please do hear me out
I want you to know I
Feel…  I:
Love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-
Love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-
Love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-
Love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-
Love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-
Love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-
Love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-
Love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you I do!

David, David
Would you believe me?
If I told I was happy and
Gay?
The things we have done
Over the years
Are illegal I have no
Doubt

But David I just wanted to say
You mean more than you could ever know
Even if we have to make love
In a caravan
When I am rich
I’ll buy us a house
With a bed if you’ll agree
To take my hand!

You are the pickle to my cheese
You make my head spin round
Not in a nasty Exorcist way
But in a pleasurable way I assure you

David no words can describe
What you mean to me
A guess the phrase “lots and lots and lots”
Kind of sums it up though
I hate the fact you had to move away
Just because what you were doing ain’t strictly legal
Doesn’t make you a criminal in my mind
So stay on the run and I’ll come to see you soon!

David, David
Would you condemn me?
If I told you my feelings
Won’t change
David, David
Please do hear me out
I want you to know I
Feel…  I:
Love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-
Love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-
Love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-
Love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-
Love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-
Love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-
Love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-
Love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you-love-you I do!

"Burn and Smoulder"

A song composed through my 'automatic writing' technique. Intended for a 2006 solo album, when this never came to pass the song was forgotten about. I don't feel it is my greatest work, written in a bipolar fog one November eve; mourning the loss of my dearest.

BURN & SMOULDER
We’re gonna burn and smoulder
Burn     and       smoulder

Now the work is done
We can have some fun
I’ll take care of
All your fears, we’re gonna

Burn     and       smoulder
Burn     and       smoulder
Burn     and       smoulder
Burn     and       smoulder

Why won’t you let me go
With you back down under?
You know how I love it there
Riding my pony quite content

I’ve seen the light, I know it’s true
I want to have your children
But you think I’m not good enough
So you won’t give me your womb!
I’m lost, in this
Tomb!
I need your
Womb!

Now I’ve said goodbye
Forgive me if I die!
Listen to the ticking clock
Now accept my sperm!

Burn     and       smoulder
You     me       and a child!
Burn     and       smoulder
Love    my       family!

Burn     and       smoulder
Burn     and       smoulder
Burn     and       smoulder
Burn     and       smoulder

"Bonfire Night"

Hastily yet effectively written, "Bonfire Night" would have been the lead single had my 2006 solo album ever come into fruition; definitely the catchiest of my early 'automatic writing' pieces.

BONFIRE NIGHT
Bonfire night,
Oh what a fright
Fireworks and such
Making lots of noise
Don’t try to fight
The deep-down inner fright
Otherwise it might bite
And cause an even bigger fright!

Another bang, another bang, a rush of blood to the head
Makes me laugh, makes me cry, a flow of blood through the veins
Should I look? Should I look? Oh! I just looked it really wasn’t nice
Then again, the fire and flames, running around the place…
…Makes me think

Bonfire night
Oh, what delight!
Bonfire night
To hear the children sing!
They sing about things
That me feel good
Like Guy Fawkes who tried to kill
All the British parliamentarians back in the day!

Bonfire night,
Catching the winter flight
Darkness from here
For it is the end of the year
Bonfire night,
Oh what a sight
Parkin’ and toffee up to your ears
Eat away your darkest fears

Months go by and months go by and then it turns into November
Makes me laugh, makes me cry, this year I can hardly remember
Sit by the window – look at the fireworks
Makes me think of China and the middle east where they were probably made!
…I’m guessing

Bonfire night
Oh, what delight!
Carting around my Guy
To get lots of money
Going up to my neighbours home
Makes me feel real good
Unless of course they have no spare change
But then I will just vandalise their house

Bonfire night
Oh, what delight!
Bonfire night
The air: what a sight!
Bonfire night
Oh, what delight!
Bonfire night
Get drunk and have a fight!
Bonfire night
Oh, what delight!
Bonfire night
Happiest day of the year

The Scot’s sing about things
That me feel real good
We laugh about old Guy
And all the British parliamentarians he nearly killed back in the day!

"Cover Up"

Second song from the aborted "Censor This..." project - The Garibaldis' foray into the political, conceived by myself and Steve Wicked mid-2006 whilst working on the Hard Rock Hotel narrative. Plans for the 15-song album were scrapped when the band temporarily split following David Picklesworth's official departure several months later. As of 2013 there are no plans to complete the project.

COVER UP
Cover up
You think it’s right
Whilst out there your brothers and sisters
In battle do fight
Cover up
From head to toe
Religion states that if you don’t
The almighty one will know
Cover up
Ignore the truth
It’s the facts which matter
Right?
Cover up
The newspapers today
Lies are what matter
The victim doesn’t get a say

Falling down a never ending well
Or so the saying goes
I leant my dues through years of pain
Licking Slovakians' toes

Slobodan, Slobodan, Slobodan Milošević
Slobodan, Slobodan, Slobodan Milošević
Slobodan, Slobodan, Slobodan Milošević
Slobodan, Slobodan, Slobodan Milošević

The Yugoslav Wars couldn’t cover up
Hatred, hatred, lies and pain
The Yugoslav Wars couldn’t cover up
Sleet and snow and wind and rain

Cover up, cover up
You think it’s right
Forget about those who
In battle do fight
Cover up, cover up
You think it’s right
Slobodan Milošević
In battle doth fight

The Yugoslav Wars couldn’t cover up
Hatred, hatred, lies and pain
The Yugoslav Wars couldn’t cover up
Sleet and snow and wind and rain

Slobodan, Slobodan, Slobodan Milošević
Slobodan, Slobodan, Slobodan…

"Riot on the Streets"

First of two sets of lyrics created for the aborted Garibaldi "Censor This..." project in 2006. Written concurrently with much of the Hard Rock Hotel material, "Riot On The Streets" was overlooking the narrative limitations of that album and indicating a more politicised future for The Garibaldis' music. Like "The Bittersweet Biscuit Rock Opera", this never came to be.

RIOT ON THE STREETS
Acts of religion
Acts for the gods
Words of excuse
For the terrorists
Walking the streets
Plotting on the grounds
That religion says it’s okay
Well the people don’t

Stand up for what you know is right
I’m waiting for that fateful night
When the people come together for the sake of peace
That will be the day that riot hits the streets

Attempting to kill those who rule
Through those who have no mouths
A cowardly act, one with no remorse
“What comes around goes around”
Yet I’m still waiting for the day
That people have enough and declare war
But still we carry on
Ignoring the signs and hoping for the best

A time will come we all we see
Men, women, children, will flock to the streets
All solely for the one main cause:
Killing in the name of religion?
We’ve had enough of it
Many will die, but rightly so
To put an end to those who think they know
“If the holy book says do it, then so we shall”
But their clearly reading from the wrong damn pages
As together with the masses,
Those of the same religion also step forward
Shouting at the haters that what they’re doing is wrong
Yet still they come ever closer, threatening with their bombs

When that day will come, I have yet to see
But in the meanwhile terrorists
Will still plot their war on governments
Whether those in charge, be wrong or right
It’s our duty to stand up for them
In the everlasting fight
Until all those who fight
And those who hope for good
Inevitably die in battle
What comes around doesn’t always come around
We’ve got to make a stand today
The terrorists of the land will carry on
Until an opposition takes their power away
Fuck off.

The Album of Wrath

Although I can't be sure of the date, it's likely the material I wrote for the eventually abandoned "Album Of Wrath" had been completed by late April 2006. The Ill-Fitting Garibaldis' gave rise to my passion for lyric writing and ultimately (if I may be so modest) nourishing my bold talent. The casual observer would never guess all ten tracks were written in a remarkably short period of time, concurrent with the likes of "Dark Church". I still have yet to get round to recording the album, having on multiple occasions considered using the odd-song with The Garibaldis. At the time of writing, Steve Wicked was eager to use them himself! I have no plans to record the tracks currently but who knows, one day perhaps - it would be a shame to let such fine prose go to waste.

WRATH’S INTRODUCTION
The following album
Is about a sin
The worst of all
Known as “Wrath”
Wrath’s a person
He’s in all of us
But mainly in evil
And this is his story
But there is a tale
To be told
And a message
To be sold
It’s important to know
Wrath is pure evil
And never mix with sinful doings
As it is the equivalent of:
Having intercourse with Wrath

DEVIL’S BIRTH WAS QUICK
Fighting for some respiration
Inside each of my peachy cells
Down there the Devil gives birth
I none of the many, many Hells!
Forgiveness is a very sick man
Whom doth not always flee
Try talking to him with your mouth full
He’ll expose you to the obscene!

The devil’s birth as quick
His mother made the doctors sick
They coughed up phlegm and said:
Christ, your son’s been born dead – little did they know…

The devil’s birth was quick
His life was disguised with tricks
He lead on many a man
And with his friend Wrath raped them
This ain’t the first we’ll hear of Wrath
For did you know he wasn’t partial to a bath
Which leads on to my next point
Wrath loved now and again a good old sneaky joint

The devil’s birth as quick
Devil’s birth was quick
Devil’s birth was quick
Devil’s birth was quick
Devil’s birth was quick
Devil’s birth was quick
Devil’s birth was quick
Vomit – vomit – sick-sick-sick!

I like to eat rabbits
While they’re still alive
I listen to trip-hop music
Whilst I fantasise
Courtney Love in dungarees
Smoking herbal trees
In the woods
Watch it burn!

RORY’S NEW GUITAR
Been strumming all my life
Never had a wife!
Turned down relationships
Just to strum my six-string beauty

I got a new guitar
I’m gonna call her Martha II
I gotta new guitar
Strumming her all day long!

Pickin’ here, scrapin’ there
Writing new songs – what a dare!
Strumming Martha’s heartstrings
She’s screaming out my name (Rory!)
Playing her till I drop
She lies in my sweaty hair

Martha lies in my bedroom
But never on the bed
That’s because she’s inanimate
And also quite dead
Yet she still gives me pleasure
Makes my hair stand on end
“Martha, Martha!” I cry out loud
While she makes my body bend

She still gives me pleasure
She still makes me whine
Her stamina’s amazing
To say I’m twiddling her all the time
Then one night however
A snap resounded down her neck
…So I got a new guitar

PLOUGH OF WOOD
You used to live in Texas right?
(Sure I did!)
You used to light the fire right?
(Sure I did!)
Went to summer camp every year?
(Sure I did!)
Encountered many a grisly bear?
(What’s your point?)

I once saw a plough!
That was made of wood!
Can you even believe it?
Plough of a wood!

You used to visit pensioners right?
(Sure I did!)
You used to own a yellow kite?
(Sure I did!)
You drank Ribena since the age of four?
(Sure I did!)
You’ve cut down a tree to make a door?
(Who hasn’t?)

I’m your mate
We’ll play games
Fun and laughter
Party people!
Loving animals
Pets and people
World peace
I love you

How can I express my love to you?
Other than in words
Or perhaps by using the metaphor:
Plough of wood!

I’VE ALWAYS SEEN THE WEST RUN IN THIS LAND
Why does the west always run?
While the east tries to hide
Forget about the north
Go south and jump inside

Feelings cough-up strange emotions
Cowboy films after dark
I’m feeling strongly
For your whole being, baby

I’ve always seen the west run in this land
Whilst the east just sits alone
You think a man will ever be born,
Who can unite the two in harmony?

Sensing, bridges
Falling, ridges
The cake burns in the oven
As I listen to this unfinished symphony

Why does the west always run?
While the east tries to hide
I’ve always seen the west run in this land
North, south, east, west – bow down!

I am he
He is Rory!
I am he
He is Rory!
I am he
He is Rory!
I am he
He is Rory!
I am he
He is Rory!
I am he
He is Rory!
I am he
He is Rory!
I am he
That’s the end of this story…

WHEN THE MUSIC DON’T WORK (BLAME AN ELF)
You know the feeling you get
Whilst roaming the magic woods?
Magic mushrooms are your path
You feel an real-high rush
You know your feet are on the ground
But you can see for miles!
And then you try to sing, it comes out all wrong!
Time to blame an elf…

When the music don’t work – blame an elf!
When the music don’t work – blame an elf!
When the music don’t work – blame an elf!
Or, even, do it yourself

This is my song and I wanna sing it loud
I wanna tell everyone I’m Scottish and proud!
So what if I didn’t grow up there,
So what if I don’t have ginger hair,
I know where my roots are… and that is:
Scotland

This is my song and I wanna sing it loud
I wanna tell everyone I’m Scottish and proud!
So what if you don’t like this song
Blame an elf why don’t you, you silly cow
I know where my roots are… and that is:
Scotland

You know the feeling you get
Whilst roaming the magic woods?
Magic mushrooms are your path
You feel an real-high rush
You know your feet are on the ground
But you can see for miles!
And then you try to sing, it comes out all wrong!
Time to blame an elf…

THIS REALLY IS A WILD WORLD
I’m a cowboy, shovel the dung
Life is hard, ain’t always fun
Luckily I got Shelley
The biggest girl in Kentucky
Every night, go for a fight…
On the olde, olde fields of

Alabama! This is a wild, wild world, in
Alabama! Living on this farm
Alabama! Just me and my big breasted Shelley
Alabama! Rearing pigs for life!

Living in the wild- wild west
Kentucky to the east, Alabama to the west
I’m a cowboy from the south
My Shelley came from the west
The west is clearly the best
Best, best, west-west-west

CHRISTMAS WITH WRATH (THE WORST PARTY IN TINSELTOWN)
Once a year, on the twenty-fifth
Santa comes down, gives us gifts
But there’s one house, he’ll always miss
Cos in that house lives wrath!

Wrath, Wrath, evil personified
Even Christmas don’t save his soul
He’s the evilest thing alive!
Wrath, Wrath, Santa’s enemy
He gives gifts if you’re good
But every year, from Wrath he doth flee

In his house there ain’t no tree
No lights, gifts or tinsel
Wrath detests all that’s good
That’s why the police gave him a criminal record;
To keep him away from kids
If Wrath touches them they’ll be sinned
Imagine Wrath was Midas
Then all he touched would be black
Opposed to gold.

He lives in Tinseltown
He wins the “evil crown”
Wrath ain’t a fan of Slade
Buy him a monicle and be his slave

WRATH!
Yeah…

WRATH’S REPRISE
So, you think you know Wrath?
Several songs can’t just sum him up
One more thing has to be done…
One more song to make Wrath’s feelings clear
To help you understand what he’s all about
Don’t be surprised if what you learn now shocks,
You may feel the urge to scream and shout
As I foretold, Wrath’s story is not pretty
For all he touches turns to black,
This makes going to the toilet very inconvenient
So without further-a-do,
I introduce to you,
The Ten Commandments of Wrath!
You have been warned!

THE TENTH COMMANDMENT OF WRATH
Wrath! Wrath! Wrath! Wrath!

Singing about Wrath,
In and out of the bath
This ain’t no black mass
But we’re talking about Wrath!

Wrath is the thing that keeps children awake
Dreaming of sin that only they can make;
In the night Wrath touches them deep,
Gives them all his evil – to keep

Wrath has no remorse – he’ll eat up a horse
He’s personified by evil that we don’t endorse
Wrath’s commandments are simple:
To kill and mame!
Wrath will rape your children
They’ll never be the same!

One: death
Two: kill
Three: eat
Four: dare
Five: cry
Six: play guitar
Seven: die quickly
Eight: rape!
By the time you get to nine,
Wrath has committed the crime
Of the tenth commandment which is…
CANNABALISM!
